Dust Wipe Inspection

At Selva Lead Paint Inspection, our certified risk assessors thoroughly inspect your property’s paint condition, focusing on high-friction areas like doors and window sills where damage is most common. Our dust wipe inspections involve collecting dust samples from various surfaces and sending them to a certified lab for analysis. Trust us to ensure your home is lead-safe and to obtain your Lead-Safe Certificate with confidence. This state-of-the-art instrument allows our experienced inspectors to precisely identify areas requiring abatement or those eligible for a Lead-Free Certificate in NJ. Trust our expertise and advanced equipment to ensure your home meets the highest safety standards. Each inspection begins with a comprehensive visual assessment, followed by targeted XRF testing of high-risk areas such as windows, doors, and painted surfaces.

Lead-Free Certificates
Boost Your Property's Appeal
If no lead is found during our comprehensive inspections, we provide lead-free certificates using advanced XRF technology. These certificates assure your tenants of a lead-safe environment and help you comply with regulatory requirements. While not mandatory, obtaining a lead-free certificate is highly beneficial for property owners who prefer not to renew their certification every two years.

Benefits of a Lead-Free Certificate:

  • Increased Marketability: A lead-free certificate enhances the appeal of your property in real estate listings, attracting health-conscious buyers and renters.
  • Peace of Mind: Provide assurance to your tenants that your property is free from harmful lead-based paint.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay compliant with state and federal regulations without the hassle of frequent renewals.
  • Choose Selva Lead Paint Inspection for reliable lead-free certification and enjoy the long-term benefits of a lead-safe property.
Our Work
What is a Lead Safe Certificate?
Properties built before 1978 are assumed to contain lead-based paint. Our certified risk assessors conduct a thorough risk assessment of your property. If the surface conditions are safe, meaning there is no peeling or chipping paint, we issue a lead safe certificate. This certificate is crucial in protecting the health of your tenants, especially children under six years old and pregnant women, as lead poisoning can severely damage developing brains.
Our Commitment
Our state government, medical professionals, property owners, and we at Selva Lead Paint Inspection are dedicated to working together to create lead-safe environments. Protecting the future generations starts with ensuring our homes are free from the dangers of lead-based paint.
